Black and White Photography Webinar
In this live webinar we will learn the best ways to shoot and expose for images that we may consider turning into black and white. In addition we will talk about what kinds of images make the best black and white photographs and how color information gets interpreted to monochromatic. We will also explore basic software programs and specialized software like NIK Silver Efex to post-process your images.
Macro Photography Webinar
There is a whole world to photograph in macro photography. This webinar will cover everything you need to know about macro photography. We will discus equipment options, filters, extension tubes and macro lenses. Depth of Field will be discussed in depth. This class will prepare you for the hands on Location Shooting follow up class at Planting Fields Arboretum.
Meet at Planting Fields Arboretum to use the skills that you learned in the Macro Photography webinar to master the art of macro. You will learn the importance of depth of field in macro photography, creative composition and metering modes. Leant how to use a reflector and fill flash.

I will follow this class with a location shooting class at Sunken Meadow State Park to put into practice the topics discussed.
Refresher Location Shooting
As a follow up to the DSLR Refresher Webinar, this class meets at Sunken Meadow State Park early in the morning before it gets too hot and the light gets too contrasty. This class will be a review of getting the right exposure, focus modes, exposure compensation and composition. If you haven't been spending enough quality time with your camera this class is for you!
